Deputies responded to a reported shooting and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The suspected shooter barricaded himself inside the Jamul home and refused to come out for over 16 hours and was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot. The initial shooting was reported at 11:55 a.m.
