Deadly force
Two drivers argued in La Quinta. One driver pulled into a parking lot and was followed by the driver of a black Mercedes, who was later shot and killed by police. The driver of a black Mercedes allegedly made death threats and beat on the car with a handgun. The man in the Mercedes pulled into the entrance to Desert Horizon Country Club, and attendants opened the gate. The man entered the property and made a U-turn before encountering two deputies, who shot and killed the Mercedes driver when he reportedly displayed a gun.
