Jose Astrain Jr. was killed after crashing into another other while fleeing from police in San Antonio around 10:50 p.m. Astrain was driving a Ford Fusion northbound when police officers in an unmarked patrol car tried to stop him for an unspecified traffic violation, but he refused to stop and sped away at a high rate of speed. The officers reportedly turned off their emergency lights and didn't pursue Astrain. Astrain lost control of his other, fishtailed into oncoming traffic, crashed into a pickup, and was killed.
