Deadly force
At 3:54 a.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a other. The two officers approached the other to speak with the two occupants. The driver exited the other, while the passenger moved into the driver's seat and allegedly attempted to flee. One of the officers contacted the driver, the other officer tried to stop the fleeing other. The new driver accelerated away while the officer, still inside the other with the driver, continued to order the driver to stop. The other entered the Interstate, into the oncoming traffic lanes. The officer shot and killed the driver and reportedly stopped the other along the side of the Interstate.
