Police were called about 4:15 p.m. when someone said someone was firing gunshots into the air at a playground. When officers arrived, they saw Cedrick Vick driving away and pursued him after he refused to stop. He lost control of his other at West 1st Avenue and Perry Street and crashed. After crashing, Vick got out of the car and threatened officers with a handgun. Multiple officers shot and killed him.
