Angel Hernandez Grado reportedly shot himself in the head while driving on Interstate 5 near Camp Pendleton as police closed in. Police had responded to reports of an ongoing domestic violence situation at an apartment in City Heights. When police arrived, a naked woman made contact with officers outside the home and said her boyfriend had attempted to strangle her.
