Around 11 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance when they encountered a man armed with a rifle. Jason Scott D'Ambrogio allegedly fired on the officers, and one Honey Grove Police Officer was struck in the leg. D'Ambrogio barricaded in the home overnight before officers found him dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.
