At about 9 a.m., someone reported an argument between a man and a woman. Police that the man inside the apartment was armed with a knife. Officers tried to get into the apartment, but the man refused to open the door. It was clear the woman was in danger. Officers forced entry, and an officer shot and killed Everardo Gonzalez Santana. The woman suffered several non-life-threatening stab wounds.
