At approximately 4:35 a.m., a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling at an unknown rate of speed on Southbound Highway 99 when it collided with the center median, breaking through the concrete barrier and colliding head-on with a Galt patrol other traveling on Northbound Highway 99. The driver, Manjot Singh Thind, was killed. Two passengers received moderate injuries.
