At approximately 3:45 a.m., officers began to pursue a other near the intersection of Sycamore Avenue and Fillmore Avenue in Buffalo. Police pursued south on Bailey until the other ran a red light and was hit by another other on Doat Street. The woman who was killed was a passenger in the other, riding in the front seat.
