Deadly force
Police were tracking James Williams, who was wanted in connection with a homicide. He also had a felony warrant for escape and weapons offenses. Around noon, officers encountered him as he left a convenience store. Williams went back inside. Officers ordered him to show his hands, but he allegedly raised a gun, pointing it at the officers. Two officers shot and killed him.
