Suicide

Around 7:24 p.m., dispatch received a 911 call from a woman reporting she was involved in a domestic dispute with her estranged husband, Kevin Fehl. Officers were familiar with Fehl from previous interactions and knew of his propensity to carry weapons. A brief pursuit began when stationed officers saw Fehl drive by their cars around 8:24 p.m. At 8:31 p.m., officers said Fehl's other hit a tire deflation device, and he stopped. As officers attempted to conduct a high-risk traffic stop, they heard a single gunshot. Fehl fatally shot himself in the head.
