Around 8 a.m., DeKalb County officers responded to calls about a man walking on I-20. The officer offered him a ride to the nearest gas station. After the DeKalb officer pulled into a nearby Shell Station, Christan Smith allegedly pulled out a gun. Officers shot and killed Smith.
