Following a two-car accident at 3:16 p.m., Leo Chavez got out of his car and exchanged words with the other driver. When CHP arrived, the situation escalated, and the officers attempted to use a stun gun on Chavez. When the attempt failed, Chavez allegedly moved toward the officers and at least one officer shot and killed him.
