Deadly force
Chad Jenkins went to a home and allegedly abused his ex-girlfriend. Her son was also abused. Jenkins then went to his home and two Pinellas County deputies were sent to his home to arrest him for domestic violence and child abuse. As deputies were about to go up to his house to arrest him, Jenkins left his home and got into his car. Deputies then went to the car and asked him to step out, but he refused. Deputies saw he had a gun and refused to put it down despite orders to do so. Deputies Casey Hunter and Derric Gandee-Lunsford shot into the car, killing Jenkins.
