At 10 p.m., a Salisbury police officer saw a car without lights and swerving. The officer attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled. The officer pursued the car believing that the driver was impaired. The driver turned onto Queen Avenue and struck a Wicomico County Sheriff's cruiser. He proceeded to Queen Avenue and struck another other. The second crash caused the driver to lose control of the other and enter Duchess Drive, where he struck a parked other and hit a tree and was killed.
