Around 4 a.m., a robbery was reported at a 7-Eleven. Two people fled south in a red Saturn on Western Avenue. An Oklahoma City police officer spotted the other and pulled up behind it. The other stopped in a nearby lot, but then sped away. The other then entered I-240's westbound lanes in the wrong direction, and the police officer, traveling east in the eastbound lanes, pursued the fleeing other. The fleeing other collided head-on with another other. The person driving the other was killed, and the passenger was injured, as was the driver of the other other.
