Around 8 p.m., a 2020 Nissan Altima allegedly driven by 22-year-old Nicholas Snyder sped by a work detail. A trooper began pursuing the car, but the chase reportedly was called off. The Nissan collided with the rear of a Subaru Forester. After hitting the Subaru, the Nissan hit a Dodge Durango. The driver of the Subaru, Kevin Earley, was killed. The driver of the Dodge was injured. Snyder was injured and was arraigned on a motor other homicide charge and other charges.
