Police responded to a call from a man who had reportedly been robbed at gunpoint in a parking lot. Police received another call of an armed robbery a short time after. Police received a third call concerning a robbery. Police caught up to a other matching descriptions. Officer Donald Graham hit Thomas with his car. Officer Amelia Lukac arrived, and both Graham and Lukac shot and killed Steven Thomas.
