Pursuit
Deputies were chasing a car in which Schulze was a passenger. Police said the driver, 31-year-old Blake Edward Thacker, was wanted out of Oregon. During the chase, the driver collided with another car, and the car rolled, causing the passenger to be ejected and killed. Thacker was hospitalized for injuries and booked into the Douglas County Jail.
