About 1:22 p.m., Virginia State Police were called to assist the Botetourt County Sheriff's Office with the pursuit of a person wanted by Pennsylvania police. The man was said to be armed and dangerous. The chase continued through Roanoke County and into Montgomery County. State police said they forced the driver to stop. As troopers approached the other, the driver reportedly shot and killed himself with a revolver while seated inside the other.
