Haitham Hani Mubarak was a 16-year-old Palestinian from Abu Falah village near Ramallah who lived with his family in Betunia town. He was an eleventh-grade student at Betunia High School for Boys. Haitham Hani Mubarak was born and raised in Abu Falah village, east of Ramallah, but lived with his family in the nearby town of Betunia, west of Ramallah.
