Abdullah Khaled Da’bas was a 20-year-old Palestinian from the Jenin area in the northern West Bank. On May 7, 2021, he was killed alongside Mohammad Ayman Fathi, also 20, near the Salem Israeli military roadblock. A third Palestinian, Ahmad Bashir Foqaha, 19, was seriously injured in the same incident.
According to Israeli military reports, the three Palestinians allegedly opened fire on soldiers using improvised Carl Gustav rifles, known locally as “Carlos,” leading to a fatal exchange of gunfire. No Israeli soldiers were reported injured. Palestinian ambulances were reportedly prevented from reaching the wounded at the scene.

They were later released.
