Their life

Lina Aludaini, the 5-year-old daughter of journalist Wafa Aludaini, was killed alongside her parents and 8-year-old brother Adam in an Israeli airstrike on their home in Deir al-Balah on 30 September 2024. Known for her joyful spirit even amid war, Lina had survived four displacements during the conflict, with her mother often documenting her singing to comfort other displaced children. Her final video—a heartbreaking clip of her reciting a nursery rhyme in the ruins of a bombed kindergarten—went viral posthumously, becoming a symbol of Gaza's stolen childhood.
