Their life

Mohammed Hilieh was a dedicated Palestinian paramedic with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), serving as a first responder in the dangerous and conflict-ridden region of Gaza. He was part of the medical teams that worked tirelessly to aid the injured and save lives amid the ongoing violence and destruction caused by the Israeli military operations in Gaza.
On March 23, 2025, Mohammed, along with other PRCS workers, was part of a convoy sent to Rafah’s Tel al-Sultan neighborhood to recover wounded colleagues following an earlier Israeli airstrike. Despite their vehicles being clearly marked as ambulances and emergency response vehicles, the convoy came under heavy Israeli fire. Mohammed and 14 of his colleagues were killed during this attack.

Despite their vehicles being clearly marked as ambulances and emergency response vehicles, the convoy came under heavy Israeli fire. Mohammed and 14 of his colleagues were killed during this attack.

Their bodies were later found buried in a mass grave, still in their medical uniforms, highlighting the brutality of the assault. The attack on these medical personnel, who were working under dire conditions to assist the wounded, has drawn international condemnation for violating international humanitarian law, which protects medical workers and facilities in conflict zones.

Unfortunately, there is limited publicly available information about Mohammed’s personal life, including his exact age, marital status, or religious background, but as a dedicated member of the PRCS, he is remembered as a compassionate and brave individual who gave his life in service to others.
