Mehdi Sadeghi Jouzani

Hit in the head with a baton during street suppression on January 18, returned home, developed brain hemorrhage hours later and died the next day on January 19. After his death, family kept his body in the village morgue but intelligence agents raided and seized the body, extorted 300 million tomans from the family and threatened them into silence before allowing burial only after applying pressure and obtaining commitments.
