Ataollah Pour Rahmati

Well-known farmer in Torbat-e Jam, father of four children with one grandchild, shot directly from behind in the head by Islamic Republic forces. Security agencies later contacted his family calling it 'human error' and offered to declare him a 'martyr' but family rejected this. Part of wider suppression in Torbat-e Jam where over 100 people were killed including children, with direct shooting at unarmed citizens in the streets.
