Shot directly in the heart during direct gunfire targeting him and about 50 others in Shams Abad neighborhood. He was from Yaft Abad neighborhood in Tehran and was the sole supporter of his family - his father had died the previous year and his mother has been ill for years, with one side of her body paralyzed after a stroke.
