How they died

Shot in the chest with live ammunition while helping injured protesters, specifically while assisting an injured mother and daughter during popular protests in Lahijan. From Hassanalieh village in Lahijan. Father of an 8-month-old daughter. Died before reaching the hospital. In his final moments told his wife and child 'you will be proud of me in the future.' Family was able to retrieve his body before transfer to Rasht by providing guarantee, and transported it to Hassanalieh village for burial with widespread attendance from villagers.
