How they died

Shot by a cleric from the Taheri family while trying to help his wounded friend. The cleric shot him from on top of a mosque. Aref was from a Bakhtiari family from Khuzestan, had come to Dargahan in Qeshm to work as an apprentice, and had recently opened a cafe. He was from the Qandali (Gandali) tribe near Masjed Soleyman. The shooter was a Bakhtiari Lor from Koohrang in Chaharmahal and is now the Friday prayer leader of Dargahan.
