Seyed Davoud Emami Meybodi

How they died

Shot with war bullets by Islamic Republic forces in front of the Imam Ali IRGC base building in Meybod. Security forces attempted to present him as a 'Basiji' and 'government martyr' but his mother explicitly rejected this. From a well-known family in Meybod - his uncle was the first casualty from this city in the Iran-Iraq war and one of Meybod's boulevards is named after him. His death occurred on the anniversary of his father's death.
