How they died

22-year-old midwifery student and volleyball player, shot near Milad crossroads, Imamat Boulevard in Mashhad during the Shir-o-Khorshid revolution. Transferred to medical facility but died due to severity of injuries. Her mother was also injured during the incident. Family kept her name secret for a long time due to pressures and threats, and even her burial ceremony was held without public announcement.
